I carefully investigated the details of this trip, and I was still skeptical because of the low price; however, I was very pleased. My family of four (kids 8 and 9) enjoyed the trip tremendously. The scenery and parks were once in a lifetime sights. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We made freque..nt rest stops, so even though we covered over 3,000 miles we rarely went more than 2 hrs without a stop. Of course, there were times when we would have liked more time at the sights, but that is the nature of tour. We had a lot to cover in one week. The bus was comfortable albeit not roomy. The hotels were all clean and comfortable. Some didn't have elevators, so getting to the second floor with luggage was a bit of a hassle. There were a number of cultures represented on the tour, but nearly everyone spoke English and although the guide presented in English and Chinese, I never felt we were missing anything. At each stop the kids on the bus (about 10 between 6-12) played catch and released some energy. Food stops always included choices. Often fast food at lunch time and local places or buffets at dinner. Not having to worry about the driving or knowing our way around a strange place made this a very relaxing vacation. If you go into the tour with an understanding of the itinerary and the distance involved, you are in for a real treat.
